The Council shall be the Governing Council of the institute. It shall have, the power conferred on it by these Rules read with the Memorandum and all property belonging to the Institute shall be vested in the Council. The Council shall be responsible for the administration of the Institute.
The Council shall comprise of the following ex-officio members consisting of 17 members and shall be selected through Annual General Meeting. The office bearers of Governing Council shall comprise of President, Member-Secretary and other members.
- 8-Semester B.Tech in Jute & Fibre Technology
- 8-Semester B.Tech in Jute Technology
- 4-Semester M.Tech in Textile Technology
- 3 month Junior Level Supervisory Course for Spinning & spinning, preparatory & weaving preparatory
(Meant for Jute Mill Workers)
